Rod Courtenay Hulme, my stepfather. The poem is my contributionfrom New Orleans. Maryse and I had great fun with Rod before he passed in Autumn 2017. Six and five decades earlier he was a most striving and generous "Dad" to me--Wellington boots high in the air as he tried for a catch in our Silver Beach Beachcombers games of 500.
