First 46 minutes of interview and music with the superlative New Orleans' drummer, composer and bandleader Herlin Riley for 2019's 'Roots, Branches & 21st-Century Phenoms' series on donpaulwearerev.com and Radio Free Amsterdam. Maryse Déjean and Don Paul are the interviewers. Interview recorded at Rick G. Nelson's Marigny Studio on November 3, 2018. First hour of two hours aired on Radio Free Amsterdam on Jan. 2. The parts are divided here into one-thirds due to bandcamp's upload limit of 600 Megabytes. The thirds may be downloaded in full fidelity for optimal enjoyment of the music.
